Common Hosts:	Crape myrtle Lagerstroemia indica Deodar cedar Cedrus deodora Elm Ulmus spp. Hollies Ilex spp. Loblolly pine Pinus taeda Oaks Quercus spp. Other hardwoods and softwoods
Description	Adult -- female approximately 3 mm wide; circular, raised, dirty white to pinkish wax cover.
Importance	Severe infestations may result in shoot or branch dieback.
Signs of Infestation	Foliage discoloration and shoot dieback. Soft waxy domes adhering to leaves and shoots.
Control	Promote tree vigor and health. Use an approved insecticide for high-value trees.
