Outstanding Florida Waters and Outstanding Natural Resource Waters:
Waterbodies that exhibit unique characteristics in terms of quality and value (OFWs) or meet specific water quality standards (ONRWs), designated by the State and Federal Goverment respectively for additional protection against pollution and degradation.

Outstanding Florida Waters(OFWs) generally include, but are not limited to, the following surface waters:
A) Waters in National Parks, Preserves, Wildlife Refuges, and Wilderness Areas;
- Everglades National Park (Monroe, Dade, and Collier Counties)
- Caloosahatchee National Wildlife Refuge (Lee County)
- St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge (Jefferson, Wakulla, Taylor Counties)
B) Waters in the State Park System and Wilderness Areas;
- Dead Lakes State Recreation Area (Gulf County)
- Falling Waters State Recreation Area (Washington County)
- Ichetucknee Springs State Park (Columbia, Suwannee Counties)
- Lake Talquin State Recreation Area (Leon, Gadsden, Liberty Counties)
- Tomoka State Park (Volusia County)
- Devils Millhopper State Geological Site (Alachua County)
- Koreshan State Historic Site (Lee County)
C) Waters within areas acquired through donation, trade, or purchase under the Environmentally Endangered Lands Bond Program, Conservation and Recreation Lands Program, Land Acquisition Trust Program, and Save Our Coast Program.
