Trailhead Location: Traveling on I-10 W of Jacksonville take exit 43. Go N on U.S. 41 into White Springs. Turn right onto CR 135, go 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Godwin Bridge Rd., go 1.5 miles into Big Shoals Entrance. Traveling on I 10 E of Tallahassee take exit 41. Turn right onto CR 137, go until road ends. Go N (turn right) on CR 136 into White Springs. Turn right onto U.S. 41 (flashing light). Turn left onto CR 135 and go 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Godwin Bridge Rd. and go 1.5 miles into entrance of Big Shoals.

Blackwater River State Forest:

Travel 8 miles N of Baker on Hwy. 189, turn right at N. Karick Lake entrance sign. Go 1 mile (road ends), turn right and go .5 mile to campground entrance sign. Turn onto campground road. Trail information is available at the kiosk on the right side of the entrance road.

From Palatka: take S.R. 20 west 14.5 miles to West Street (there is a brown DOT informational sign on SR 20 when you are getting close to West Street). Turn north on West Street, and go approximately 4/10 of a mile. The trailhead and parking area will be on your right.
From Interlachen: From the intersection of S.R. 20 and C.R. 315, take S.R. 20 east 1 mile to West Street. Follow the directions above once you’ve turned north on West Street.

After crossing the St. John’s River bridge in Astor, travel E on S.R. 40. Go .6 mile past bridge and turn S (right) onto St. John’s River Road (dirt road), go 3.4 miles to the Bluffton Recreation Area (road ends). Trailhead is at the E end of the Bluffton Recreation Area. From the intersection of U.S. 17 and S.R. 40 in Barberville, go W on S. R. 40 for 5.8 miles. Turn S (left) onto St. John’s River Rd. and follow previous directions to trailhead.

From the intersection of US 27 and US 60 in Lake Wales, take US 60 E for 9.5 miles. Turn S onto Walk in the Water Rd., go 9 miles to stop sign at CR 630A intersection. (Walk in the Water Rd. becomes Blue Jordan Rd. S of CR 630A.) Go 2 miles to flashing light at North Lake Reedy Blvd. Turn left onto North Lake Reedy Blvd, go 1.6 miles to Lake Arbuckle Rd. Turn left onto Lake Arbuckle Rd., go 1.5 miles to Rucks Dairy Rd. (dirt road) and turn right. Paula Dockery/Reedy Creek Trail Kiosk is on left at fork in the road.

Trailhead is 4.5 miles East of the Withlacoochee River. Traveling on CR 484 turn West at intersection of CR 484 and SR 200. Trailhead is 1.4 miles on South side of SR 200.

Seminole State Forest:

Loop Located on SR 46, 5 miles W of Interstate 4. South forest entrance is 2000 ft. after crossing the Wekiva River.

Directions are the same as the Lower Wekiva Trail. Trailhead is located 3 miles inside the south forest entrance at the intersection of Sand Rd. and Pine Rd. Drive-in access requires a state forest use permit, parking is available at the forest entrance.

Trailhead Location: From SR 44 in Inverness, go S on Citrus CR 581 for 2 miles. Holder Mine Recreation Area sign is on W (right) side of the road. Turn W onto Forest Rd. 10 (Trail 10), go 2 miles. Trailhead kiosk and parking area is at the W end of the recreation area, on the S (left) side of the road, intersection of Forest Roads 9 & 10. From US Hwy. 41 in Brooksville, go N for 5 miles, turn left at the "Y" onto Snow Memorial Highway (Hernando CR 481). The road number changes to Citrus CR 581 at the county line. Go N on 481/581 for 13 miles to the Holder Mine Recreation Area sign on the W side of the road. Turn W onto Forest Rd. 10 (Trail 10), go 2 miles. Trailhead kiosk and parking area is at the W end of the recreation area, on the S (left) side of the road, intersection of Forest Roads 9 & 10.
McKethan Lake

Trailhead Location: Day use fee required at this location. From US Hwy. 41 in Brooksville, go N for 7 miles, turn left at McKethan Lake Day Use Area sign. The entrance road is the second paved road N of the intersection of Hwy. 41 and Lake Lindsay Rd. (CR 476). The trailhead is on the right at the end of the paved one-way road that circles around the lake. From the intersection of SR 44 and US Hwy. 41 in Inverness, go S on on US Highway 41 for 12 miles. Turn right at the McKethan Lake Day Use Area sign. he entrance road is the second pabed road N of the intersection of Hwy. 41 and Lake Lindsay Rd. (CR 476). The trailhead is on the right at the end of the paved one-way road that circles around the lake.

Trailhead Location: From the intersection of US Hwy. 301 and SR 50 (US 98) in Manor Ridge, go E on SR 50 for 5 miles to Richloam Claysink Road (there is a Little River Trailhead sign on the N side of SR 50). Turn S (right) onto Richloam Claysink Rd. and go 1 mile to the Richloam Fire Tower Trailhead on the W (right) side of the road. From the intersection of Sumter CR 471 and SR 50 in Tarrytown, travel W on SR 50 for 6 miles to Richloam Claysink Rd. Turn S (left) onto Richloam Claysink Rd. and go 1 mile to the Richloam Fire Tower Trailhead on the W (right) side of the road.

Loop From US Hwy. 41 in Brooksville, turn E ontoCroom Rd. and go E for 5 miles to Tucker Till Trailhead located adjacent to the Tucker Hill Fire Tower. Equestrian parking is on the N (left) side of the road; parking for hikers and off-road bicyclists is on the S (right) side.

From Lake Lindsay Rd. in Nobleton, go 1 mile E to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S onto CR 635 and go 2 miles. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area. From I75 take exit 62, turn W (right) onth CR 476-B . When road ends at "T", turn W (left), go 4 miles on CR 476 to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S (left) on CR 635 and go 2 miles to entrance of Hog Island Recreation Area. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area.
